An introductory workshop covering intimacy best practices, consent work, creating psychological safety and bystander intervention training.
Regina De Vera creates a warm, inviting environment for actors to own their performances, thus providing the director with a rich palette to experiment with. It is a treat to have worked in such an environment! I appreciate her application of Viewpoints as vocabulary for both choreography and consent: the specificity helps make scenes safe, repeatable, and precise, accompanied by a certain musicality to her choreography which draws from the characters' given circumstances. Regina helps make moments of passion and tension matter more — and with her onboard, you will have a reliable guide watching for everyone's wellbeing as you journey toward the team's artistic vision.

Hollaback! (now Righttobe.org)This workshop helped me come home to myself again. It reconnected me with my boundaries, my breath, and parts of me I didn’t realize had gone quiet. As someone living with dysthymia (chronic depression), the experience meant even more. It gave me real, gentle tools I can hold onto when life becomes heavy or overwhelming. I walked out lighter, more grounded, and deeply grateful. I didn’t realize how much I needed this class… until it started healing parts of me I forgot were hurting.
Regina is an engaging teacher who is both serious about this craft but makes this challenging topic fun! It's a great introduction for anyone interested in intimacy coordination.
Ms. Regina's aura was so welcoming that I felt safe and the overall content was eye opening and even helped me mark off the dots that were missing in terms of researching and applying intimacy work, such as the consent form, intimacy calls and different psychological safety. This workshop should literally be spread and funded around the Philippines to further crank up a notch the movement for safe spaces in not just film sets and theatre sets but in everyday life as well.
