Developments, developments
I finally moved into a new apartment last March 31, 2019. This is the fourth apartment I've lived in New York City within the span of less than four years. What an adventurous and trying domestic ride! I'm hoping to move into more stability. I now live in a two-bedroom and it's the biggest room I've lived in so far (the temporary room I stayed in last month was also big but I was living among boxes so that doesn't count). The only catch is that my room doesn't have a closet - so I got one at IKEA yesterday. I still haven't assembled them and I didn't want to pay $150 for the assembly services so, would anyone like to help me??
Kidding aside (unless someone is available and I'll buy you lunch) - it's been quite nice. My new roommate has two cats and a parakeet. I never lived with pets before - although I do remember having a dog in my childhood named Max but died before I developed any real pet relationship. I have a vague memory of my father burying him, but I digress. The cats are named Lucy and Maeby and the parakeet's name is Egg.
Lucy and Maeby both like to sneak in my room when I accidentally leave it open and I discover them either on my bed or hiding under my bed. So I have to make sure I leave my door closed at all times.
Actor Presentations
Last April 6-8 we had our final Actor Presentations in New York City (aka "Showcase") mainly for potential agents, managers, and casting directors. We also had special open dress rehearsals for the Juilliard Drama Community as well as for friends and family. It's an exciting time and I hope that in these shows I have planted seeds for future projects and prolific relationships.
Los Angeles
I'm leaving for Los Angeles next Saturday, April 20 for our Actor Presentations LA show. I'm staying with a Filipino friend of a friend. If you're a Filipino in LA do say hello!
